Payment & Refund Policy

Effective Date: November 18, 2025

This Payment & Refund Policy governs the terms of payment for services rendered by Webmate Studio and the conditions under which refunds may be considered. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with the terms set forth below.

1. Payment Rules & Procedures

All client payments for services provided by Webmate Studio must adhere to the following guidelines:

Accepted Payment Methods

  • We exclusively accept payments through Online Transfers only (UPI, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, or Bank Transfer).
  • For security and transparency, we do not accept cash payments under any circumstances.

Initial Payment and Project Commencement

  • Work begins only after the initial agreed payment is received and confirmed.
  • This initial amount is used to secure the project slot and cover preliminary planning activities.

Milestone Payments

  • For larger projects, payments are divided into milestones mutually decided with the client.
  • Each new phase begins only after the previous milestone payment is cleared.

2. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital and custom development services, our refund policy is strict and transparent.

Non-Refundable Payments

The following payments are strictly non-refundable:

  • Initial Payments / Booking Fees: These amounts cover administrative and initial planning costs.
  • Delivered Work: Any work delivered fully or partially (design, code, content, etc.) is non-refundable.
  • Third-Party Costs: Items purchased on behalf of the client such as Domain Registration or Hosting Services are non-refundable.

Conditions for Refund Eligibility (Exceptional Cases)

A refund is applicable only if all the conditions below are satisfied:

  1. The client requests cancellation before any work has started (design, development, planning, etc.).
  2. The delay or failure to start the project is caused by Webmate Studio.
  3. No refund is issued if cancellation is done by the client for personal or external reasons.

3. Project Cancellation by Client

If a client cancels the project midway, the following rules apply:

  • No Refund: No refund will be processed for completed or ongoing work.
  • Work Delivery: Deliverables corresponding to the last fully paid milestone will be handed over. Unpaid milestone work will remain the property of Webmate Studio.
